Gardener

Job Summary The Gardener is responsible for maintaining the property’s gardens, landscaped areas, plants, lawns, and outdoor spaces to ensure a clean, healthy, attractive, and well-maintained environment in accordance with company standards. Key Responsibilities - Maintain gardens, lawns, trees, shrubs, flowers, and other landscaped areas throughout the property. - Perform daily watering, trimming, pruning, mowing, weeding, planting, and fertilizing as required. - Monitor the health and condition of plants and take appropriate action when signs of disease, pests, or damage are identified. - Prepare soil, planting areas, flower beds, and pots for new plants and seasonal landscaping. - Replace damaged, unhealthy, or dead plants as required. - Maintain irrigation and watering systems and report any defects or leaks to the supervisor. - Keep gardens, pathways, landscaped areas, and outdoor spaces clean, tidy, and free from leaves and garden waste. - Safely operate and maintain gardening tools, machinery, and equipment. - Ensure fertilizers, pesticides, chemicals, and gardening materials are properly stored and used in accordance with safety requirements. - Support landscaping improvement projects and seasonal decoration as assigned. - Coordinate gardening activities to minimize disturbance to guests and daily operations. - Follow all occupational health, safety, hygiene, and environmental procedures. - Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged outdoor facilities to the supervisor. - Assist the Engineering team with other general duties when required. - Perform any other duties assigned by the Engineering Supervisor or Chief Engineer.
